Hi, I have Lenovo G510 & I have upgraded to Windows 10 Home Today 3rd August 2015. Before I was using Windows 8.1 64-bit. As I turn on my laptop, the following error appears & I am unable to use Advance Dolby Audio System. 1) Unable to start the Dolby Digital Plus Advanced Audio Driver. Please restart the computer or reinstall the driver if the problem persists.

This error occurs repeatedly every time I turn on my laptop or Restart. What to do with this? I searched for a solution and drivers but couldn´t find anything.

Follow this guide on how to disable automatic driver installation. Press the Windows key‌ Windows logo key+X and choose Device Manager. On the Device Manager, navigate to - Sound, video and game controllers >right click on Conexant SmartAudio or IDT High Definition Audio >choose uninstall >and ensure the delete the driver software for this device is checked. Press the Windows key‌ Windows logo key+X and choose Programs and Features. On the list of apps, uninstall anything that relates to the Conexant/IDT & Dolby then reboot. After the reboot, download and install the driver below (this should install the audio & dolby components) - Audio Driver (Conexant) for Windows 10 (64-bit) - Lenovo G410, G510 When finished, you the audio & dolby settings should now work and the errors should not pop-up anymore.
