Nvidia Geforce Gt 540m Driver Windows 10 - Download For Free

The Windows 10 upgrade window states that this PC can't run Windows 10 because the display manufacturer hasn't made your display compatible with Windows 10. Check with the manufacturer for support.

Nvidia Geforce Gt 540m Driver Windows 10

I have lost of driver of nvidia geforce gt 540 m window 7 pls help me. Indahos on August 10, 2012. Terima kasih banyak, semoga Tuhan memberikan kelancaran rejeki untuk anda:D.

My computer is equipped with the NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M graphics card. I checked with NVIDIA and I attempted to download and install 3 different drivers. All 3 state that it's not compatible with my current version of Windows (Windows 7).

How am I supposed to install the Windows 10 upgrade if the drivers can't be installed without Windows 10 already on my computer? How does this pertain to Windows Update functionality? If your system is not ready yet for your upgrade to Windows 10, we will provide more details during the upgrade experience. In some cases, we will include contact information so you can follow up directly with an application provider or device manufacturer to learn more.

For most upgrade incompatibilities, you may still choose to complete the upgrade, and find alternative compatible solutions in the Windows Store after you upgrade. Hi there, Just replying here as I have two friends who also have the GT 540M graphics card and WERE able to upgrade to Windows 10. One of them did this during the preview phase and the other did it just today. So it's definetly NOT a hardware issue by NVIDIA, but most likely a software issue. Here are a couple of suggestions you might try: • First check if your notebook's manufacturer has an update for your display driver on their (support) website.

If so, use that driver instead of the links given in the next step. From there on you can follow these instructions.

Note: It's important you check this first, because they might have specifically configured the driver for your notebook! • If your computer manufacturer doesn't have an updated driver, then the following can be tried: Yesterday NVIDIA rolled out an update specifically for Windows 10 and should also work on Windows 7 - 8.1. Have you tried installing this version yet? (Please make sure you use the correct version for your OS.) • Before trying to upgrade to Windows 10, make sure you reboot your computer after the installation of the driver is finished. • If that doesn't help or for some reason you can not install the driver, try to do a clean install of the NVIDIA driver.

To do so, use a thorough software removal program. (I've been using for years to do this) With iObit installed, follow the following steps: • Open iObit uninstaller and find the 'NVIDIA display driver' in the software list. • Click the 'Uninstall button' and wait till the uninstaller is done with removing your driver. • Initiate the 'Powerful scan', which will search for any residual files and registry entries from your driver. • Select all residual files it finds and delete them. • Reboot your computer.

• After the reboot is complete, install the NVIDIA Display driver again via one of the links above or from your notebook's manufacturer. After the installation is complete, reboot your PC again. • Try to upgrade to Windows 10.

After this, if you still get errors regarding your display while trying to upgrade, then the issue definitely isn't caused by NVIDIA. The only thing you can try then (which I can think of now) is to contact the manufacturer of your notebook for support. Perhaps they've tweaked your notebook and it's display in such a way you can only update to Windows 10 with a driver designed by them and they need to get to work to provide you with this driver. They probably will not do this until they get complaints about your issue. Hopefully these instructions are clear (English isn't my native language) and help you with upgrading to Windows 10! (Stating it mildly, because I really hoped it would work for you.) My best guess is to contact the manufacturer of your notebook then and see what they have to say. It could be that the notebook you have demands a driver update from your manufacturer instead of NVIDIA. It rarely happens that such a thing is required, but I personally can't think of anything else. Upon googling to see if there are more reports from people who have issues upgrading to Windows 10 with the GT 540M graphics card, I only encountered websites and threads of people who had questions/issues after they had already upgraded Windows 10. Download Canon Pixma Mp250 Driver Windows 10 Torrent. This thread is right now the only report about not being able to upgrade with the GT 540M, which might mean your manufacturer has made some customizations to the graphics card for your notebook which cause this issue. If you contacted the customer support of your notebook's manufacturer and (in the most frustrating case) they send you back to Microsoft to find a solution for you, it might be useful for the official support team to have some more details about your notebook.

If your manufacturer sends you back here, please let it know you contacted them, if they gave you any useful information and also provide the following information in this thread: • The brand of your notebook (e.g. Asus, Dell, Toshiba, etc.) • Model of your notebook (Can usually be found on a sticker on the bottom of your notebook) In most cases the support/tech team should be able to look up more details about your notebook with this information and if not, they will probably ask for whatever additional information they might require in order to help you.:) I hope your manufacturer can give an explanation/solution and if not, then I hope that Microsoft support will get in touch soon. They probably got their hands full with all the millions of people who are currently upgrading, so just hang in there!:) Take care!
